Feature Enhancements

Platform — Monetate Personalization Engine

• Added a "Timeline" view to the Experience List page. Filter experience information, zoom in on experiences in a folder, and sort experiences in the "Timeline" by various filters.
• Added type ahead search to help you filter the “Timeline” with specific experience tags and goal metrics.

Action Builder

• Added 20 new actions types to Action Builder. This provides you with an agility toolset to help drive additional business value. For the full list of available actions and technical details, please visit the Self-Service Action Descriptions doc.

Customer Views

• Each account is now limited to one Customer View. This helps you to avoid creating conflicting Customer Views that could potentially affect Monetate's ability to reconcile IDs. Properly configuring a Customer View with an appropriate Person ID and ID collectors is necessary to leverage Monetate's cross-device capabilities and establish a omnichannel view of your customers.

Feature Enhancements

Engine Dashboard

• Created a new Monetate Intelligent Personalization Engine dashboard that highlights different elements of personalization within your account.
  • Added the number of active Individual Fit Experiences for your account alongside the number of unique context variables used and number of decisions made
  • Added the number of active Majority Fit Experiences for the account alongside the number of sessions that Monetate diverted to the best variant for the entire audience
  • Added a graphical view into the number of sessions matched to a customer

Browser Support

• The Monetate platform only supports the latest 2 versions of Chrome, Firefox, and Safari.
  • Other browsers and versions are unsupported and may not function properly.
  • Experiences and actions will still run as expected in older browsers.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed a display issue on the Individual Fit Experience Analytics page where the run-time did not display correctly

Feature Enhancements

Engine Context Improvements

• In addition to new Engine Context Categories for "Product Categories Viewed" and "Product Categories Purchased," we made our context descriptions a bit less US-centric. Cheers to our EMEA friends.
• Engine Context notifications. Got a new experience? Returning to an experience in draft mode? Configuring Account Level Context? We'll let you know about any new Engine Context that we added while you were away.
• We did some housecleaning for our Engine Context buckets and arranged them in a more sensible (and infinitely hipper) hierarchy
• Context types with the "Boolean" label are now "True/False" because not everyone is a nerdy developer.
• "High Traffic" tooltip icons are gone. Now, you get these variables as part of the default Engine Context set. Rejoice at the importance of this.

Individual Fit Experiences

• In the spirit of adventure, we moved the "Performance" and "Lift" graphs to a different location on the Individual Fit Analytics page.

Bug Fixes

• Custom Event-based Goal Metrics now track properly within Analytics. Chances are this wasn't a problem for you in the first place, but Product Owners force me to include stuff like this.
