Delete a Content Pages Dataset

You cannot restore a Content Pages dataset that you delete. Instead, you must re-create its schema as a new Content Pages dataset.

For some reason you may need to delete a Content Pages dataset from the Monetate platform. Doing so doesn't impact the product catalog dataset(s) to which it's associated.

Follow these steps to delete a Content Pages dataset.

  1. Click DATASETS in the top navigation bar, and then, if necessary, select Product Data.
  2. Select Content Pages from View on the Datasets list page.

Callout of the View selector on the Datasets list page. The selector options include Content Pages.

  3. Find the Content Pages dataset that you want to delete, and then click its name to load its details page.
  4. Click the additional options menu (...), and then select Delete dataset.

Callout of the additional options menu and its Delete Dataset option on the details page of a Content Pages dataset

  5. Click the checkbox to acknowledge your intention to delete the dataset, and then click DELETE.

Callout of the disclaimer and the DELETE button on the Delete Dataset modal for a Content Pages dataset. The disclaimer reads, 'I acknowledge that I'm about to make this change.'

After Monetate deletes the dataset, Personalized Search no longer considers the content pages published on your site when identifying matches for a search query.
